Enrolling at CPPS
Chirnside Park Primary School is a sought after high performing public school of around 400 students that has experienced significant enrolment pressure over the last few years.
Our school zone is available on Find My School which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
Firstly, to check that Chirnside Park Primary School is your local designated neighbourhood school, please go to:
- Enter your permanent residential address under ’Enter your address to get started’
- Select the appropriate enrolment year
- Select Primary under ‘School Type’
The map will then show you your address, your local school, and on the left the contact details for the school. If you scroll down, it will also show you the five closest schools to your address. If Chirnside Park Primary School is your local school as identified via. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au then you are guaranteed a place at our wonderful school.
If you are looking at Chirnside Park Primary School as a possible choice for your child, then the next step is to book an enrolment tour with your preferred date and time via the form provided on this website.
Please note that your preferred date and time is not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Once we have received your form, a member of the front office team will contact you to confirm a date and time for the tour that suits you. Tours are conducted weekly across varying days.
Tours are conducted individually by a member of the executive leadership team and usually take about 30-40 minutes. During this time you will walk the grounds and visit a number of classrooms Prep -6. We want you to get a feel for our school, and feel free to ask any questions that you may have about your child and our school to see whether it is the best fit for you and your child.
At the conclusion of the tour you will be given an information pack that complements what you have seen and heard on the tour. From 20 April 2026, Chirnside Park Primary School will be in contact with new families who have completed a tour with the school and families of siblings who have contacted the school to inform us of their 2027 enrolment interest, regarding the enrolment process.
