School Council

School Councils play a vital role in Victorian government schools and are established and operate under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic), the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017 (Vic) and a constituting Order. In essence, the role of school council is one of helping set the long term future for the school and maintaining oversight of the school’s operations.

A well-informed and effective school council strengthens community confidence in the school and helps to build and secure the school’s reputation. If you would like further information regarding our school council please contact our school front office.
