Parents & Friends Association
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) operates as a sub-committee of the School Council. Its function is to assist the school in providing the best possible learning environment for the children through various fund-raising activities that support the improvement of student resources. The PFA’s secondary function is to bring the community together to celebrate and share in the positive community spirit that is Chirnside Park Primary School.
This is achieved through a diverse range of fundraising activities eg. Mothers’/Fathers’ Day stalls, The Colour Run, Bunnings and Election BBQs, School Discos and community functions such as the community Quiz Night.
Joining the Parents and Friends Association helps keep communication open within the school community and facilitates the opportunity to develop many new friendships and initiatives.
